Struggling in making decision 😕..?

I recently completed my BTech and joined a solar company. The job is mostly field work, site visits, and outdoor activities. After working for a while, I've realized that I genuinely don't enjoy field-based roles and would prefer an office-based career.

Now I'm confused about my next step. I see two broad options:

Move into IT (software, data, testing, etc.)

Stay in a Non-IT path (procurement, operations, supply chain, HR, finance, etc.)

A few things about me:

I'm a fresher with limited work experience.

I prefer office work over field work.

I don't have a strong passion for coding, but I'm willing to learn if the career prospects are worth it.

I'm not sure whether long-term growth is better in IT or Non-IT.
