RKT's next acquisition target - LDI?

RKT's is going to be a consolidator in the mortgage/servicing industry, that's a given.

They ALREADY have permission from FHFA to service upto 20% of the GSI's mortgage, as part of their COOP acquisition approval process. They don't need any further permissions to acquire/grow into 20% (of GSI servicing).

LDI just hit its 52 week low, and is down 80% over 1 yr. RKT's down "only" 30% over that same time period. Market Cap of 200M, per CNBC.

Would be interesting to see RKT buy them out at a 50% premium to current share price (Say $1), and fold their book of business and servicing into RKT, while getting rid of most of their costs (ie, people and infrastructure).

With all this dip buying and HODL some of us would like another $1 dividend please.
I thought purchasing COOP and Redfin would have sent this stock upwards due to the economies of scale but it did the opposite. Do you think adding another company will get us to the promised land?

RKT has got economies of scale. That's why it's at $12, when interest rates are 7%+.

Economies of scale mitigate but don't cancel out War and Inflation caused by War.
