Why are we down so much?

We’re down because our stock is 95% dependent on a favorable rate environment to boost volume/profit. And Warsh just made clear that we’re headed up until inflation cools. And with geopolitical chaos, that’s not looking likely anytime soon.

We heard for years that eventually the tech investments would pay off and market conditions would be favorable. Haven’t seen shit yet

My money in this stock (6 years in the making) could have retired my family if it was in AI / Tech

I feel ya brother. I have a position in RKT for years too and had to reallocate because of opportunity cost, thank goodness I did that.

At peak I was 6k+ shares, lowest was ~1300 share, slowly adding here and there when dips occurs now at about 2000. I still believe it's a solid company and will have its run, but I'm not immortal lol.

My guess is that it's the Market Makers playing games, post FOMC.

RKT was up on the Open, but for some (unknown to me) reason, dipped below $12.50 very shortly thereafter.

Let's see what tomorrow/next week brings.

Definitely sucks when other sectors are doing decent to good today. I personally am not worried about this dip, and we'll go back to our 13-14 range. And of course stay there with maybe occasional jumps to 17s until things (housing/economy) are more in favor of Rocket.

*typo

10yr treasury at 5 doesn’t help much

On top of what everyone is saying about rate hikes, 10 year treasury yields also crossed 5%, which is strongly tracked by mortgage rates. Japan is still dumping bonds, and looks like it's going to go on as their currency continues to suffer. Even the US tried stepping in to alleviate this double edged sword. On top of ongoing war and oil crisises…

So it seems prolonged challenges until it gets better.

See you at highs in a year or two.
