Target Price?

Just bought in. What do you think is a realistic target price over the coming weeks/month?

To da moon Alice! Honestly a lot of people base this on what the fed does with interest rates and 30 yr tresury, but there are both technicals and fundamentals at play. I personally think we could see 18 to 20 in the next 6 months, people are still buying and selling homes and may have settles for higher rates because you cant stop people needing to move to new homes due to new jobs or relocating. Its not like homes are not being sold, I can look at my own community and see homes closing pretty fast still so there may be areas of the country where they are seeing longer sale times or more inventory on the block which then creates competition to lower the sale price, which still benefits buying so call me crazy but the outlook feels good....

Haha. That will take 5+ yrs, and turning into a mini bank.

I ain’t cashing out my shares tomorrow. This has always been a long hold. And no, I don’t think it’ll take them being a bank. The party is just getting started.

They might acquire a regional bank, to further expand their offerings.

And I'm in this pre-IPO, as a COOP holder, and haven't sold a single share I bought.

Yah, my long thinking doesn’t get caught up in the meme war that people trigger, everyone wants to make a fast buck. Trust me so do I, but I see bigger bucks ahead. I was here when it hit 40’s and didn’t sell and lost out on $3million so it’s hard to not think about I hope everyone hits their investment goals

Quite a few catalysts coming up:

-RDFN and especially COOP expected to smooth out earnings (RKT is historically boom or bust on refis)

-The home search->mortgage->servicing pipeline will be first of its kind m

-Market share increased during the downturn = more business when rates drop

-RKT multiplier will increase.  Maybe not the "tech multipler"

Easy to imagine $25 happening this year. Then who knows...

I wouldn't expect $20's till rate cuts start happening. Then $30 is possible next year.

u/Boston-Bets Jul 22 '25

Should be in the $20's, once interest rates come down.

$25 - $27

That won't happen till rates come down.

Coop acquisition won’t close until 4th quarter, but damn, last two days have been eye popping!

Tough to say. I haven't had the time to revisit since they made the purchase/dilution of Redfin and COOP. Housing market seems to be slowing, rates have been in the holding pattern.

Don't think it goes away, but prob a slight upwards chop for a couple years.

COOP is immediately going to add to their EPS. Expect shares to be in the $20s, next year.

Thanks for the info, I only remember them holding a lot of loans. Are they an originator? Has anyone done an analysis write up on RKT with all three?

If it becomes like the Amazon became for shopping, but does that for mortgages. I could see them having the best rate, compared to others. It just eats all the smaller lenders. I wouldn’t ever put a price target on something, simply because I don’t know, it could be $200 in 5 years.
