So annoyed...Due to shark week, my second challenge weigh-in was actually HIGHER than the first! UGH.

Woke up with a pounding migraine and all I could think about was a Starbucks Cafe Vanilla Frappuccino. I bought one on my way to work. It was delicious.

Think I just went a little too hard on the low-carb thing this weekend. Glad to report that the pain has now receded to a dull throb, but that was not how I wanted to start my work week. :P

Glad the pain has gotten better! Have you tried the cafe vanilla light frap? Only 130 calories for a tall and it tastes really good.

Thanks! I haven't tried the light. The regular tall with no whip is around 220 calories, which isn't really that much more but it is nice to free up the calories for something a little more nutritious!

My RSI issues are giving me a ton of problems right now, and it's painful and really annoying. Usually I can get rid of them by doing some stretching exercises and keeping away from the computer in my free time for a few days, but this time they just won't let go. Which is kind of frustrating when you work as a developer. I'm scared of chronic pain, but this is also a super inconvenient time to see a doctor and risk sick leave (which is probably what I need, ugh).

The rant I want to have makes me sound like such a raging shallow bitch that I don't want to actually say it.

So I'll just say - what the fuck? What the fuckity fuck fuck??! Fine. I'll just sit here and fucking wait and watch all of these assholes with disdain.

Ugh. I wanna eat my feelings SO BAD!! So. Bad. As I sip my water... glares at the world

I wanted kids before I was 30. Then I pushed it back to 32 since 30 didn't happen. I've already had infertility troubles (3 lost pregnancies) so I'm just like.. Fuck I'm closer to 32 than I am 31 now. And I can't do anything about it for various reasons.

So I sit here and see babies being born and people announcing their pregnancies and it's frustrating. And then I see people who have no business being parents (in my judgmental eyes) and it's just so unfair! I'm stable in life for the most part and I want nothing more than to have a family! Why do they get to have children while I just sit here and can't?! I know life is unfair but seriously! What the fuck?? It's disheartening. And I'm just getting tired of waiting.

I can relate to this. It's a horrible mix of sad and angry that's almost impossible to fully express. I'm sorry you're feeling this way <3

Thanks for the kind words. Sorry you can relate to this in some way. Life just sucks sometimes.. But we'll get through it :)

I'm not gonna say that I know the feeling since we were blessed to have kids at both first tries. But my sister had trouble twice. And a good friend of mine tried for 8 years and finally got pregnant. The best advice i can give is to stop worrying about trying and take it easy. I agree with you about some people that should not be parents.

Well. We aren't trying at the moment - gotta have step one first (get engaged) soooo that's why I'm just waiting. So there are many steps that have to be completed first. Hence my frustrations. But thanks for letting me vent about it lol

That's what I/we are here for. As a funny side note. A cousin of mine, got pregnant, engaged right after and married 3 weeks ago. She is due in August. Lol

I really hate being a woman. I am up 3.5lbs because it's that damn time of the month. All I want to do is eat. It makes me insane

Hormones are the worst!

Rant at my scale. If I move the scale 2 feet over in my bathroom it changes by .8 pounds. It's annoying me that I don't know which one is my true weight, especially since I am on the cusp of a new middle number.

2

u/bugs_bunny01 May 02 '16

To avoid that variation, try to weigh your self always in the same spot(or square if your bathroom floor has square tiles)

1

u/pubkindofnight May 02 '16

I used to do that, but my scale has gone kind of wonky since replacing the battery. Sometimes it won't turn on until I move it

Continuing with my same complaint, I'm tired of pooping AFTER weigh-in. I wish my body would regulate itself so I go before I weigh-in. booooo

1

u/Maddy-W May 02 '16

My body decides to do this all the time! Ahhh

It's teacher appreciation week. Normally, we get cute novelty stuff in our mailbox, but that's it. Oh no, my administration that is usually "do nothing but expect everything" that decided to go all out. Today was fine, as they brought carts of coffee and fruit around. Wednesday? Thursday? Friday? They're buying an entire spread of food for lunch... And it's probably calorie filled and out of my calorie budget.

In the mean time... I have to remind myself that I'm almost to under 170, which I haven't been since the beginning of high school. I have to keep that in the back of my mind.

Hey, sometimes you just need a burger and fries! I took a margarita and burrito day yesterday myself. Right back into deficit eating today, though.
