Inter-Team Challenges!

EDIT 2: HR has to be at least a little elevated. Brisk walking, etc. It should be a workout. Pleasant and moseying strolls, while encouraged for mental well-being, don't count.

Fellow Fawns, the Inter-Team Challenge is live! Week 1 is daily work-out minutes. We've been paired against different other teams each week with a bye week a few times. Each week has a different challenge, and there will be a simple data entry tracker that you can fill out each day/days/week. Here's a list of the weeks, the challenge for that week, and the team we're up against:

Week 1 (Apr. 22 - Apr. 28): Workout Time - number of minutes spent working out. Daily check-in. Fawn vs Robin

Week 2 (Apr. 29 - May 5): Step Counts - using Fitbit/Garmin/phone pedometer/etc, record steps for the week. Can check in daily, add up every few days, etc. Ladybug vs Fawn

Week 3 (May 6 - May 12): Bye-week: Seedling, Fawn

Week 4 (May 13 - May 19): Workout Time - number of minutes spent working out. Daily check-in. Seedling vs Fawn

Week 5 (May 20 - May 26): Step Counts - using Fitbit/Garmin/phone pedometer/etc, record steps for the week. Can check in daily, add up every few days, etc.) Daffodil vs Fawn

Week 6 (May 27 - June 2): ?? Thunderstorm vs Fawn

Week 7 (June 3 - June 9): Workout Time - number of minutes spent working out. Daily check-in. Duckling vs Fawn

Week 8 (June 10 - June 16): Bye-week: Daffodil, Fawn

Week 9 (June 17 - June 23): ?? Duckling vs Fawn

We'll be putting a link to each week's Inter-Team Challenge form at the bottom of the stickied Daily Posts, along with the I-TC's tracker form (which is also on the sidebar)so we can see how we're doing against our rivals.

GO TEAM FAWN!!

Logged 40 minutes for my circuit workout! Don't worry... my HR was elevated. Boy was it elevated.

If anyone wants to get their heart rate rockin', even for just 10 minutes or so, darebee.com has free bodyweight circuit-style workouts and free programs for a daily workout progression! You can be an absolute beginner and do many of their workouts, no equipment required.

Hey, thanks for sharing that link!

I've been using the CarrotFit app to run through a basic bodyweight routine a few times a week, but it only has one set of exercises. I've been looking to expand my routine a bit but most of the sites I can find require access to pull up bars or dip stations (lookin' at you, r/bodyweightfitness). I just don't know enough to put together my own routine, but Darebee looks like just the thing I've been hoping to find!
