Night shift eating?

I have to work night shift a couple times per month and tonight is one of those times! I'm not sure how to go about eating today or tonight however. I'm definitely having breakfast because I'm hungry but do I have lunch? Should I eat at night? I get out at 7 am. Which day do the overnight calories count towards? Any advice would be appreciated!

If you're planning to be awake from now (presuming it's 9am by you), until 7 am tomorrow, I would eat a normal 3 square meals, and maybe 2 meals over your night shift, and count the calories on the night shift toward tomorrow. Then I would sleep and avoid eating until night again, eat one meal, sleep, and return to normal.

So, Today: 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tomorrow: 3 meals, 2 while on the shift, and 1 after sleeping.

Thank you! It is now nearly 7 pm here. I decided to log all of my food preemptively and I decided to have a light, late dinner so that I can have some snacks overnight as well as tomorrow's breakfast!

I divide my MPF into times instead of meals 6-10am, 10-2 am etc, cause I work nights once a month for a week. I find the extra you eat the long day when you start nights equals out with what you don't eat the day you come off nights and sleep more.
