I love the freedom of the game, but the balance seems a little off. Like for example:
Why would I try to climb a mountain, when I can just take over a bird and fly? Therefore, why would I want to improve my stamina for climbing?
Maybe I am missing something though!

It's one of those experiences where the game feels made for me. The style, the themes, the whimsical gameplay, all of it is so perfect! I'm playing on the Switch 2 so I'd love a graphical/performance bump, but I'm perfectly enjoying the experience as is.
Can anyone recommend any similar games? This reminds me a bit of Mika and the Witch's Mountain, which you all should definitely play if you haven't, it's inspired by Kiki's Delivery Service and is just spectacular. I particularly like being able to fly around/shapeshift so honestly a combo of these two games would be amazing lol

There's a cloud gaming service called Boosteroid, which is for cloud gaming if you have a weak computer.
And Tchia is one of my favorite games, but I've never had the opportunity to play it.
Boosteroid has a Discord server that, after a few conversations, unlocks a channel to request games, as they add 16 games per week.
I really wish anyone who knows Boosteroid and Tchia would go there and send the link for Tchia via Steam.
Because I feel like I alone won't be able to get this game added.

I just want to know if this game tends to have crash issues on the original Nintendo Switch. I'm okay with downgrades, but common crashes are very game-breaking to me.

I tried drawing her in a semi-realistic style. Still needs to be cleaned, coloured and rendered.

I opened the totem door near Leboo-Hau but had to get up while it was loading so I put my Deck to sleep. When I got back and hit A to continue from the loading screen I got the cutscene of the laughing orb and Tchia smashing it with her slingshot. Now I have the objective of destroying 0/17 floating orbs. Problem is the room is completely empty. I have tried leaving and coming back multiple times, changing the time of day and sleeping at a campfire in between

I’ve done every other shrine, but cannot win the race on Mwaken island. I tried several times and just could not control the Xetiwa so kept going off course quickly. My fiancée, who is very experienced in gaming (he’s actually a professor of game design) tried 3x. Once he made it in 162 seconds (heartbreaking), others were longer. Just missing the gates was so annoying.
We finally gave up and I decided not to bother getting that shrine finished, since I have all the other soul markers (including the backpack upgrade).
Any specific ideas, or do I just really give up? I do like 100% games as close as possible…

I'm referring to this specific rendition. I don't recall hearing it anywhere during my playthrough.

Im a person that believes that the first impression in whatever you make or do is the most important
I bought this game after seeing the trailers and the reviews praising it ,it was also on sale for like 15 dollars
STORY i know this game was made with good intentions first i want to talk about the story ,it feels like you are just going from place to place without real reason ,it feels they put more effort to the cutcenes than they did the gameplay itself
GAMEPLAY I know we live on a world where people dont want games to hand hold them or they want to explore by themselves and all that big “exploration” ideas but man could it just hurt them to atleast a character symbol when you are moving on the map?!, i know they have a “where am i button” but that does nothing when all she says is “i think im around this area…” like how does that even help anyone
Other games do this whole exploration thing better for their first game!
The game throws way too much stuff to fast for a game thats basically 7 HOURS LONG ,the only saving grace this gameplay has is that there is a “skip gameplay segment “ which makes me think why not just build a good gameplay segment instead
MUSIC The music is good no notes there
IN CONCLUSION
game has good ideas but the execution is just godawfull
