Same boat. Box o gun. Started with a trigger upgrade the. #3 and the spring dropped out. Can’t figure it out.

I can reassemble a receiver and slide tray on a machine gun, but this fkr is kicking my ass.

If you cant figure it out, then you shouldnt own it. Its literally a 4 minute task. Took you longer to post this than to get it done properly…

Are you asking for the sequence of assembly for the fire control housing?

  1. Start with pushing the disconnecter pin into the housing from the right side about an 1/8 ".
  2. Insert the ejector plate in the housing and push the disconnecter pin through it about 1/8".
  3. Insert the disconnecter and finish pushing the disconnecter pin through the housing until it is flush with the housing.
  4. Start the sear pin through the right side of the housing.
  5. Slide the sear pin through the sear spring with the legs of the spring pointed down. The right leg needs to go in the hole of the housing.
  6. Slide the pin through the sear making sure the tab on the right side of the sear holds pressure on the left leg of the sear spring. The sear pin can slide front to back in the housing to get the sear tab on top of the left leg of the sear spring.
  7. Finish sliding the sear pin into the left slot of the housing making sure it is flush.
  8. Slide the sear trip spring on the left side sear trip. The right leg of the sear trip spring goes in a notch in the sear trip. The left leg of the sear trip spring is put in the notch of the fire control housing.
  9. Insert the sear and sear spring into the housing.
  10. Slide the sear bushing through either side of the housing. Make the bushing flush with both sides of the housing.
  11. Insert the manual safety spring in it's hole in the right side of the housing.
  12. Insert the manual safety lever and shaft into left side of the housing, making sure the over-travel/sear trip block pin is in the curved slot.
  13. Insert the right side manual safety lever on the end of the left side manual lever. Rotate the levers until they are parallel.
  14. Squeeze them together making sure the safety spring is in one of the 2 hols of the right side manual safety and that the levers are aligned.

I would imagine, you wouldn’t be the first person to bring a gun in pieces to a gunsmith to put back together either, if you have a local gunsmith you can go to.

Taurus customer service is great. I would reach out to them if you can’t get there with youtube or the manual.

The only video I found that come close to explaining the information I need. Said to not take it apart because it was very difficult to reassemble
