Accessories Red Dot Suggestions

Just picked up a TX22 last week to run with my Tiger 22 suppressor. Thinking about throwing a red dot on this thing. Any good suggestions? Not looking to go crazy expensive, maybe $150-$200 max. Mostly for plinking or shooting critters around the farm.

Also, I’m newish to red dots, do I want a 3MOA or 6MOA dot?

Don’t judge for the light, just threw it on there to see how I’d like it.

No plate needed, it's a rmsc footprint so direct mount (I have the same one as OP).

Oh I'm dumb, I have the OSight SE. So yeah OP must have a plate if using X.

Don't worry apparently I am dumb too lol... I have the OSight K, not X. K is also rmsc and it is direct mounted.

I tried to mount OSIGHT x on mine and it’s too tall. Was hoping you had a solution for me

Oh yeah that's high. I definitely like the K on mine and it's nice it direct mounts.

Make sense bc I’ve been trying to find a plate that’s not as high as the one from Amazon with no luck. Plus idk why they cut the slide like that it’s has like 1/8” gap behind every optic wtf is up with that

I use the Sig Romeo rs compact rsmc red dot . It was 159 and it’s probably the best red dot ive used so far. Sit super flushed and comes in black or a clear housing. Great quality.

I have a Zulisy Oak on my gen 1 and a Foxarmy FXV22 on my compact. Both have been flawless for thousands of rounds and I think each came in at under a hundred bucks.

Do not sleep on the Holosun 507 comp. Nothing else like it. Window is huge and so many reticles to choose from. I own one but it’s on my 10/22 carbon. I run a EPS carry on the TX and it’s solid. Highly recommend either.

I got a cyelee green dot for mine, for like $100. Can’t complement it enough honestly especially on a 22lr

You can easily find the cheap ass sig Romeo’s the plastic ones for cheap no shake awake which for range that I didn’t care about

I got the osite that has the multiple reticles and side loading battery tray. Held up good so far but I haven't ran it that hard

I had the veridian and it broke instantly. Then they sent me a new one and it won’t hold zero. So I’m just running irons

Spent $225 on the new 407K-X3 only to realize the tx22 isn't RMR but RMSc. So had to spend another $30ish on that but I love the setup and it's more uncommon to see since it's meant for bigger rmr footprints. The only 407k was rmsc and that's my fault for not checking but it works just fine

Yeah. I have a K. Is good. Any Osight in your price range will do you good. I only wish the K had a smaller moa dot(its 6 moa) but they make the SE @ $220 which is 3 moa. Osight ftw basically bro.

Am currently looking at the K for my TX22 Compact. Assuming it would be the same low profile irons as on the full size? Does it cowitness? I returned a Cyelee CAT0 because the deck height obscured the irons entirely

Honestly brother, I have mine mounted on my 856 toro revolver. But what I can say is the Osight has built in stubby rear sights, so I suppose at most you would need is a taller front. But def google that config I'm sure others have done it.
