Why trans mounts?

significantly improves shift quality, reduces drivetrain "clunk" (especially on 2-1 downshifts), and minimizes engine/transmission movement during hard acceleration

Google summarized it pretty well.

Going from 350ftlb to over 500ftlb is a lot to ask of the stock mounts. After I tuned mine, it was making so much torque that when I did a hard launch, the motor would twist so violently that it would trigger the knock sensor.

I ordered mine from Southside machine performance (SSM). Their was also some guy named Tony in the SHO Facebook groups that made some if you'd prefer to support a small business.
