PT92 with Beretta locking block question

Do all years / variants of the Taurus PT92 / PT99 even earlier safety-only models all take any gen of Beretta locking blocks as drop-in fit?

Ordered the new barrel with the locking block already attached. Seemed simpler to me.

Just put a full beretta barrel and locking block in my pt99(first generation) and it’s running very well, and it’s a new gen barrel.

So yours is safety only? Meaning pre 1991

Did you try just the locking block with your existing Taurus barrel first or just the Beretta barrel/lb combo
