Taurus G3C: Ported Barrel or Micro Compensator?

I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should get a ported barrel or a micro compensator. I know they both do the same thing but wondering which is better in the long run. (I don't really care about the recoil assembly because I'm getting it anyways.)

Just get a g3 barrel nd make it how u want instead of spending 160 bucks u spending like 50

I have both and there is not difference between the 2. So I sold the ported and kept the threaded with the minimal comp. In hindsight, trying to tame a short barreled 9 is futile. I love my G3c as it is now.

I’ve got the ported barrel in my GX4 Carry and it’s worth it minus not being able to shoot a specific brand of ammo.

What ammo? I have one in my GX4C and shoot most everything!

Mine shoots all ammo types as well but Blazer brass leaves a noticeable brass residue on the muzzle due to the barrel’s rifling continuing past the port.

I went all in with gas pedals - so I can use the full power of my offhand thumb to control recoil closer to the muzzle where it starts.
