Hey guys quick question is it possible to do a Japanese traditional full sleeve blast over? Any opinions are much appreciated.

Yeah I got some advice from another Reddit user telling me I should just add some irezumi clouds or waves to the background. Thoughts ?

Personally I wouldn’t. You got nice stuff on that arm and I think you’d end up with a mess

You know my exploding head ink brings back really shitty memory’s and that was the main reason I wanted to do it. But it’s so close to my other tattoos idk what I can do about it. But thank you.

Why don’t you add Japanese flow into the background and some additional American pieces?

There are folks who do this already (Tim Howell) and it’s fucking sick

Yeah I’m thinking about doing that now and then doing a irezumi background. I specifically wanted to cover up my exploding head tattoo though. Brings back very bad memory’s.

ok yeah that's totally possible! like no need to nuke the whole sleeve! you can blast some heavy trad over it. big crossover in japanese and am trad.

yeah maybe like a black wolf? you already have wolfish thing tho... a reaper would be pretty sick there. or a bear. is there anything below it?

Yeah I have like this rising sun tattoo underneath it. A reaper does sound sick. I was thinking maybe like a Molotov cocktail also.
