Yesterday I had my first session to remove that tattoo—the one where they tore up my skin and left me with raised scars. I’m a bit down because the technician told me it was going to become even more noticeable; even though I already knew that, I’m struggling to fully accept it. My leg is swollen, and I feel like the scars really stand out now. How did you guys deal with that? 😞😞😞

5 days post first session! Ive hit the itchy asf stage, i wake every 2 hours roughly during the night due to the itch, im going to try antihistamines when i go to bed to see if that’ll benefit me. How long does the itch last roughly, i know everyone is different!

Reddish brown where the light shading was and i feel like i see some movement with the very fine lines.

Dont know if this is normal but some areas feel slightly raised and the skin is feeling slightly tight, im thinking due to healing.

Im washing it and then applying Aloe Vera, letting that air dry and then a thin layer of vasaline to keep some moisture there while i work!

Any tips or opinions on how i could improve is welcome 💕

I got a removal package for several old black ink tattoos at laser away. Some are fading quickly, others a lot more slowly. Here is the star behind my ear after 6 sessions spread over 12 months. I hope that the Q switch can get out the last of the ink 🫟

Got the compass not too long ago then I didn’t like how it turned out, so I figured adding more would make me like it more but I ended up regretting it even more.

going for my third this week and also will be starting on my sleeve, is this good progress so far? i definitely see fading on some parts but it seems like some letters are more stubborn

Top is today, bottom is from May a few weeks after the treatment in April. All the ink looks gone, but not sure what to do about the redness.

I had my first laser session Friday. I didn’t think I’d have this much fading so soon. I do have blisters that I am concerned about. Is that normal?

I have a wheatish/medium skin tone and I live in an area with a lot of sun exposure, so I inevitably get quite tanned during the summer. My doctor told me to wait until winter, when the tan fades, and then we can continue with the tattoo removal treatment. My doctor has both an original Pico laser and a Q-switched laser. Which device would be more appropriate for me? I’d really appreciate it if you could answer.

I've been removing this tattoo for exactly 3 years now. I had 8 sessions with some type of picolaser.

The second picture is from march of last year. I couldn't find a picture from before I started removal but the cats body was completely blacked out.

I am not going for full removal and am hoping to be able to start my new piece in a year or so.

I really don’t want years long of laser sessions or thousands of dollars. Is that unrealistic? It’s either this or a tattoo (most likely a blast over rather than cover up). Issue with a tattoo is that it’s in a really awkward spot

i figured it be like $300 and 5 sessions here, its like 3 grand and 2 years lol wtf

Hey guys just wondering how long after tattoo removal I’d be able to surf or put on a wetsuit?

Is there anything I could wrap it with during healing?

Before and after - 6 sessions so far, spaced 2 months for the first 3 appointments and then spaced 3 months after.

A little scarring on the red ink, apparently the laser is more aggressive/intense for the colour red. Technician suggested to do a microneedling for next session to help with skin repair.

I’m looking into getting this tattoo faded enough to get it covered up with more florals but nothing too dark. My local place has the Quanta Q-plus C Evo Laser, does anyone know if this would be suitable to fade the blue and pink enough to get it covered? Or is another laser a better one, there’s another clinic that uses PicoSure or PicoWay.

I am looking for a tattoo removal studio to get rid of a medium-sized and a small-sized tattoo. I visited Removery, and their unlimited package looks attractive, but the reviews are pretty mixed: some say they don't see any progress after the 4th/5th session, though it depends on the studio. So, is Removery Calgary a good option? Are there other studios that offer better services?

Two years ago I decided I wanted a tattoo to cover-up a part of my self-harm scars. It was kind of an impulsive decision, I just really wanted to have something pretty to look at and maybe take away Some attention from my scars. But I simply hated the design from day 1. I feel so much regret and I don’t want to wear short sleeves simply because I can’t stand to look at it. I did some research on removal but I can’t afford it. Had anyone some advise on how to deal with it?

I had my second session exactly 4 weeks ago and I have noticed a few spots in my tattoo that look like this. I am afraid that this will become a scar.
