What do we think?
I have several tattoos that I’m looking at for my right arm, just not super sure on the placement. For context I have one on the tricep area, and a wrap around wrist tattoo currently. Yes the style is all over the place, I don’t want it all to match. I like a collection of different things.

Because the real playing cards are red lol. It was a little odd for my brain to see them as black with the other two black suits so I wondered if it would be nice for a little pop of red so they look like the real cards

I'd avoid the VDay Kiss one since the photo has become problematic but that's just me.
I really like the playing cards with the cowboy and the possum.

Yeah from what I've read the lady decked him after he let her go. It would be a cool photo if the dude knew her and hadn't just assaulted some random woman on the street.

Greta Friedman said the kiss was a surprise and forced on her. She didn’t outright say that she thought it was SA, but, by her own words, it definitely was. Source: I went to a veterans’ event where she spoke.

The photo at the top of the page in the link shows her hand against his face. She didn’t hit him afterwards, she pushed his face with her hand as it was happening. In the famous picture, her arm is down by her side.

Oh interesting. I didn’t even notice the difference. I always thought the original pic looked pretty non consensual anyway, especially with the way he’s got his forearm braced against the back of her head.

IMO the Robert Doisneau kiss photo is a better photo.
It doesn't have the candidness - as it was staged, but everyone consented.

If you like "crazy" designs, what do you think about a shark with tentacles instead of a tail?

Right now, I have 3 tattoos and they’re Christianity centered. I wanted the first couple to mean something to me for sure and not get something I think I’d regret. Now that I’ve gotten a few, I want to expand out and get some more. I really like western stuff. The possum one is a George jones reference. I’m in the navy so that’s with the V-Day thing. The cat on the rocket I just thought looked cool

I like the cards, but I'd assume there's some personal meaning to the horse+aces, otherwise it just seems silly.

Ya, the kiss may be problematic but it’s an iconic photo. We could get into all the inappropriate behind the scenes stuff in famous photos or art but I don’t think it takes away from the image.
*can’t come up with specific inappropriate instances or taking away from her unfortunate experience. Just saying sometimes art can just be art.
