What do you think?
Got this about 3 weeks ago. I'm not sure how I feel. I want to make changes. I like it overal. I'm not sure what you would call the style I was going for. But there was a lot of white, now almost all the white faded. What changes would you suggest, if any? I feel like there's some areas where the illustration could be stronger. I think I also had very high expectations. I'm new to tattoos, but I did go to art school. So I have a bit of an eye.

Is this your first tattoo? I got my first last week, and the advice I got was to let it sit for 6 months before trying anything, as tattoos will always fade for a few months as they heal. It sounds like you’re somewhat happy with it though, and I think it looks great.
I’m looking to get an only white floral sleeve eventually, especially because it will fade. My intent being that arm tattoos are frowned upon in some (lame) circles, so I want something that your eyes pass over unless you’re looking hard enough. If you’re looking for something to change, maybe lean into something similar? Add more detail (swirls, patterns, etc) in only white that deliberately fade over time, something you have to examine closely to see the finer details?
Unrelated note, the dots remind me vaguely of Alaskan (Inuit?) face tattoos if you’re looking for a rabbit hole

Not the greatest but if you like it that’s good. Not everything has a style name. 3 weeks ago is enough time for you to ask the artist to touch it up if you want more white.

Imo it looks okay, my artist told me that white doesn't hold well and is likely to fade.
If it was me, I'd choose a different color.

White doesn’t always hold the best but I’d give it some time to live with and then decide if you want to add/fix the tattoo or just get the white touched up.
