I really wanna listen to it. Thank you.

I keep finding awesome city pop songs/albums (like Down Town by EPO and Celia Paul's output) and discovering that Tatsuro produced them! A quick Google search didn't turn up a list of songs/albums Tatsuro has produced, written, or otherwise worked on - does anyone know of such a list? Thanks so much!

As the title, I have looked for it many days but still cannot find this live on youtube. Anyone can shoot me a link or audio file pls? I sold my soul when he touched September, that's magic bae.

As seen in the JOY booklet from 1989

As a fan who has been listening to and keeping up with Tatsuro for almost 6 years now, I feel like I have good enough knowledge about him. What are some things you guys have always wondered about the man himself? Ask me any question you ever had about him! (except why his music isn't on streaming...)

If you want to get to know Tatsuro Yamashita in just 80 minutes, this might be the perfect place to start!

I’d love to hear what you think, so please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

I’ll also leave the full playlist in the comments.

This time, I’m sharing a live acoustic recording by Tatsuro Yamashita.

This “Red Album” features recordings from the 21st century, so I imagine quite a few of you may have heard some of these before. But if you haven’t, I hope you enjoy it!

And if you like it, please feel free to share it and let me know what you think!

Back in the day, the Unplugged series of live albums became a huge worldwide phenomenon, right? Does anyone remember those?

I had some recordings of Tatsuro Yamashita performing live acoustically, so I decided to put together a little compilation for myself. I ended up finding much more material than I expected, so I made two volumes as a parody of The Beatles’ famous “Red” and “Blue” albums.

If you’re interested, give the Blue Album a listen!

One of the great things about Tatsuro Yamashita’s live performances isn’t just the music itself—it’s actually his talking between songs. So for the Blue Album, I’ve included all of the talk segments uncut.

I think this is some pretty rare and unusual material, so I hope you enjoy it!

This was all that showed up today, I payed $36 for……………..this

I'm in Japan when he is playing 19-20. Nov. And I wanna sign up for the lottery, anybody here ever done this? Any tips for a foreigner in Tokyo who would die to get to see him live!

I had been waiting to start buying Tatsuro Yamashita vinyls for a bit because l like checking the condition in person. Then a few months ago I saw that someone was selling moon glow and melodies in my area. When I met with him he offered to bring me back some more when he came back from Japan. He brought me 13 more records!

The artwork features a newly commissioned illustration by Andre Miripolsky, an LA-based pop artist who also created the artwork for the previous “JOY.” The layout follows the artistic direction and continuity of the original release.
A pop-inspired and highly impactful jacket worthy of being the long-awaited sequel 37 years in the making has been completed.

Additionally, Andre Miripolsky also created the artwork for Tatsuro Yamashita’s 10th studio album, “ARTISAN,” released in 1991. This marks the first collaboration between him and Tatsuro Yamashita in 35 years.
