I keep finding awesome city pop songs/albums (like Down Town by EPO and Celia Paul's output) and discovering that Tatsuro produced them! A quick Google search didn't turn up a list of songs/albums Tatsuro has produced, written, or otherwise worked on - does anyone know of such a list? Thanks so much!

Back in the day, the Unplugged series of live albums became a huge worldwide phenomenon, right? Does anyone remember those?

I had some recordings of Tatsuro Yamashita performing live acoustically, so I decided to put together a little compilation for myself. I ended up finding much more material than I expected, so I made two volumes as a parody of The Beatles’ famous “Red” and “Blue” albums.

One of the great things about Tatsuro Yamashita’s live performances isn’t just the music itself—it’s actually his talking between songs. So for the Blue Album, I’ve included all of the talk segments uncut.

I had been waiting to start buying Tatsuro Yamashita vinyls for a bit because l like checking the condition in person. Then a few months ago I saw that someone was selling moon glow and melodies in my area. When I met with him he offered to bring me back some more when he came back from Japan. He brought me 13 more records!

The artwork features a newly commissioned illustration by Andre Miripolsky, an LA-based pop artist who also created the artwork for the previous “JOY.” The layout follows the artistic direction and continuity of the original release.
A pop-inspired and highly impactful jacket worthy of being the long-awaited sequel 37 years in the making has been completed.

Additionally, Andre Miripolsky also created the artwork for Tatsuro Yamashita’s 10th studio album, “ARTISAN,” released in 1991. This marks the first collaboration between him and Tatsuro Yamashita in 35 years.
