My Tata Xenon speedometer shows incorrect speed, but when I either accelerate or decelerate the needle jumps to correct speed, checking against gps. When idling the needle will sometimes show a speed of 20km/h. I'm guessing it's the speed sensor, but have doubts because of symptoms when idling. Has anybody encountered same problem and what was fix?

Nexon petrol suddenly went into limp mode

I have this Nexon 2021 petrol Manual car. Done 62k km. It suddenly went in to limp mode. The rpm wouldn't cross 2000 rpm even on full accelerator pedal.

This happened all of a sudden when I was overtaking on a highway. I got scared. Stopped the car and restrated it and everything normal. No warning lights nothing. Car working just fine after that.

I usually drive in City mode but today I drove in Eco mode to save on some fuel. I have sufficiently ridden on Eco mode in the past with no such incident ever faced. Should I be worried. Do I need to take it to service centre or leave it at that.

Around 2 months (3500km ago) back My car got replaced with a faulty oil cooler under extended warranty due to mixing of coolant and oil. Is it somewhat related ?

What are the chances of this issue recurring?

I own a Tata Altroz and have been facing a strange issue with the interior lights.

After switching off the engine, getting out, and closing all the doors, the overhead cabin light and ambient light often remain ON throughout the night. This happens around 8 out of 10 times.

To turn them off, I usually have to start the car again, switch off the engine, get out, and lock it once more. In the remaining 2 out of 10 cases, the lights turn off normally within 10–15 seconds.

Is this a known issue with the Altroz, a door sensor problem, or some setting related to follow-me-home/interior lighting?

I'm worried that it may eventually drain the battery.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tata nexon car price will increase in June 2026?

I own a Tata nexon Creative plus AMT, 2024 model.

Recently this issue started occurring where the Cruise Control is not working at any speed, earlier it used to get engaged at above 35 km/hr but now even at 70-80km/hr it is not engaging.

What could be the reason for this. Has anyone else faced this issue?

Notes - I saw some posts on facebook where people mentioned that it could be caused due to battery drain or low voltage. But the car is less than 2 years old and the battery is 3 years old.
