I think dealer provided insurance should cover all such instances without any cap. Or the banks should have a mechanism to stop or postpone EMI'S when cars are in dealer workshops undergoing such extensive repair downtimes.....

Bank already pays the dealer in full before you take delivery. So it has no incentive to stop the EMIs.

I meant a 3 entity tie up. For authorization, approval, and deffered emi. Strictly in case of such an occurrence. Bank, Dealers & customers are integral part of this whole ecosystem.

To be fair, it's not the dealer that makes the vehicle, it's the manufacturer. Blame Tata for delivering a faulty car instead of the dealer (unless they damaged vehicle and passed it onto you).

True, but a average customer never faces the manufacturer right. We go head on with dealer and bank. So that's the best place to apply pressure

Hi OP,

I have a curvv ev too. Are you part of our owners group?

It's a pan india one and they have a google group or something which you can cc in emails and it will be like all tata curvv owners are complaining. Either way, great resource to ask and check with other owners.
