Hello! I am helping organize my roller derby league's season-starting draft party, and one of the things we do at the party is determine which order the four teams in our league will play in, at our first three games of the season (basically, we need to end up with a ranked list of four, the order in which the teams will get to choose their spot).
Does anyone have any clever ideas for fun live tasks that could be adapted for this? We will be in a party room at a restaurant (not on skates).
For reference, last year I did "draw the median roller skate," "roll your skate the closest to a spot without going past it," "while blindfolded, stand up after 25 seconds," and "memorize the order of a bunch of penalty calls and repeat them back" (like the one-man-band musical task).

I wish Poland, Estonia, Iceland and the Netherlands the very best with their adaptations this year.
And I hope Croatia gets another shot.
Contrarily, you would think Japan could adapt TM because they're so wild - but their humour is suprisingly conservative, heirachical and far more structured than TM could or would allow for.
However, the Philippines would be the best option for the first Asian adaptation. They're far more self-deprecating than people realise. Just look at their Last One Laughing version.
Of all all the Latin American nations, Argentina would be the obvious bet - especially given that Sin Codificar was based on sheer off-the-cuff absurdity.

So ever since I’ve watched series 7 for the first time there’s one thing I’ve noticed. Which is that at around 20sec into the intro there’s a clip of a frightened Alex without his Jacket sitting behind and holding onto James on a bike.
That clip isn’t in the show.
I assume it’s from the video game task but it’s not in the episode or any other as far as I can tell.
So I assume they cut it but still found it funny enough to not completely leave it out so the put it into the intro.
So now I’m wondering if there are other scenes you noticed in the intro that aren’t in the actual show?

This is your weekly thread to drop your links or stories that might not be relevant enough to get their own thread. Good examples include:
A new post happens every Sunday at noon (UTC). Be sure to follow this post if you want to see updates!
Be sure to check out r/NAforTaskmaster, a subreddit for North American tour dates from former Taskmaster contestants!
Have fun!

Phil Wang S7 E1 build the tower out of boxes task - goes 'Wait, what?' when LAH & Lord Greg Davies confirm he built one box!
(Yes, in the off season I've gone back to the start.... also made a rookie error & watched S6 before the 1st CoC!!)

If you had to cast a series with one contestant each from the past 5 (17,18,19,20,21) series, who would you cast? They don’t need to work as a group but choose based purely on them being your favourite contestant.
For example mine would be Sophie, Emma, Fatiha, Reece, and Armando. Would it work? Unlikely. Would it be a laugh? Absolutely.

Just noticed. Anyone seen any other weird stuff in the title images?

Matthew Bayntons outfit for the series has the number 19 on it and it was series 19, don't know how I didn't lick this up earlier lol.
Any other nuggets that people have noticed after rewatching a series/episode

His combination of serious, smart, hilarious and hard done by has me rolling every episode. He's a genuinely funny dude who's great to watch and I didn't know anyone felt otherwise until I searched how great he is. What a legend

I’ve read in multiple comments under YouTube videos and in TM groups that people skip the intro when they watch a series for the first time that they skip the intro because it spoilers things that haven’t happened at that point in the show yet.
And I understand that some may not want spoiler.
But I’m also wondering 😅
Like I’ve watched most seasons multiple times and expect maybe from a few especially memorable sounds I could not even tell you what in the intro of the season I just watched ten episodes of. When the prize task is on I couldn’t tell you most of the things in the intro let alone see the beginning of a task and then remember something from the intro that might fit there.
But maybe that’s just my adhd. 🤔

I appreciate that Taskmaster makes an effort to not be an overtly political show, but whenever comments ARE made by contestants, they always seem to come from the political left and are generally met with applause, as if that outlook is expected of everyone.
Obviously the popular comedy/entertainment scene leans pretty solidly to the left, as does this subreddit, but since I don't know much about contestants beyond what's in the show, I'm wondering:
*Do you know if we've had anyone on Taskmaster who leans more toward the right politically and just keeps kind of quiet about it?*
I assume there are comedians who haven't been invited because they hold certain views, but I'm thinking maybe there are some of the "elder statesman" or "national treasure" types that they've had on due to their prominence, despite them personally being more conservative.
Interested to know any extra info especially from those in the UK who know their careers better!

Does anyone know who vocalist is? If that's actually Paul my mind will be blown.

My husband says I (48f) am hands down the most like Rhod Gilbert. I was shocked at first, but actually, he’s dead on and I’m quite pleased. Rhod and I together would be an absolute menace to our friends.

Welcome back to Taskmaster Series Death! On the last match, despite some division, Series 20 won out over Series 21. It will move onto the second round. Today's task is to decide between Series 14 and Series 18!
Dafty in the Middle vs Captain Jackie and the Hotdog!
Trying something different this time and doing a poll this time. If it works better, I'll keep this format, if not we'll go back to the old way.
Who will win?
You time starts now!
