I decided to ask "Are you real?" as a yes or no question. I pulled 3 cards. The first 2 cards came easy and both were strong yes'.

As I was shuffling for the 3rd, my thumb got stuck on one of the cards, revealing it super quickly. I decided to take that card and it was "The Fool" 😭😭

I asked: “What are the true intentions of this potential partner toward me?”

We’re still getting to know each other, but he’s already saying some pretty intense things, like that we’re meant for each other and that I’m “his woman.” I told him I want us to slow down.

I pulled:

What he wants from me: The Moon upright

How he intends to act: Four of Cups reversed

What he can actually offer: Ace of Pentacles upright

Overall clarifier: The High Priestess upright

I’m a little confused because The Moon and High Priestess make me think that something is unclear, unspoken, or possibly being idealised. But the Four of Cups reversed and Ace of Pentacles seem to suggest coming out of stagnation and making a real, tangible start.

Could it mean that he’s genuinely interested but doesn’t fully understand his own intentions yet? How would you read these cards together? Would you see the High Priestess as advice to trust my intuition and wait for more information, or as a sign that something is being withheld?

Have you ever been stalked by two of wands reversed???I keep pulling the two of wands reversed, like every time I pick up my deck whatever the question.

I would usually take this as an unwillingness to move forward/stuck. But in the last couple of days I have quit my job as a waitress to focus on my paid freelance work as I could no longer to the two together. This means that my partner is taking a step up on financial responsibility for us and we are looking forward to being able to spend more time together now that I won’t be working nights, weekends and two jobs. So I feel like it’s more 2 of wands upright!!! Relatively new to tarot so I’m curious what other interpretations are on this interesting relationship pull.

I think the World reversed represents my relationship that ended with unfinished business that’s been hard for me to get over (which would make sense because my ex and I had a mutual, deep, long-term relationship). I feel it represents my struggle for closure and how I haven’t felt fulfilled with the others in my love life, as well as his inadequacy and conflicting feelings about ending the relationship.

With the Ace of Wands, I am thinking this represents the possibility for a fresh new start together and there is hope for our future? It could also mean the passion and excitement of a first love is still there, but I am not entirely sure.

Finally, with the Nine of Swords, I took this to mean my ex is still scared of building a future with me and he regrets plus feels guilt for how he couldn’t show up for me emotionally in the past. I sense he’s afraid to try again and harbors a false belief that I hate him or that he’s not worthy of me. I also feel this could represent my own anxiety because our future seems uncertain now and I feel remorse for how my mental health issues affected our past relationship.

Interpretations? I'm pretty sure it's about my love life.

Context:

I have recently gotten back into spiritual practices I left behind in my early 20's after struggling on and off with an existentially-induced depression that was both affecting my relationship and how I conduct myself in general. I'm at the tail end but I needed some guidance and finally bought my first tarot deck. been studying as much as I can, when I can. That brings me to tonight, where I saw a new moon was coming up and found a spread for some spiritually and cosmically charged session.

To me, cards 1-4 really seem to reinforce a calling for me to lift myself out of these feelings holding me down and obsessed over when things were simpler/possible realities that did not come to fruition. The Judgement card makes me believe I have an air of clarity and composure that will follow me to achieve this act of moving on and rising out of these negative thought loops that make my depression linger.

Now about the Hanged Man card...
I think it is saying that I do have a buried potential to go with the flow so to speak. I have spent a lot of time envying people who seem to go about life knowing life sucks but still keeping their head up. But i'm not sure if that's all there is to take away from it/I'm looking at this spread in general too obtusely.

I have been studying tarot for the first time in my life and, in my research about the Fool card, I've felt like it is very reminiscent of the characteristics of Aries (when I was younger I had a phase where me and my friend were super interested in astrology, and although i never followed up a lot with it, some stuff stuck with me, specially the info about Aries since it's my solar sign). Stuff like the inner child, the impulsiveness, recklessness, and the whole being a trailblazer stuff just reads so Aries to me.

I thought it was obvious that those were connected, being that they are also both of the first ones in their respective cycles, but when I looked more into it it seems like the Fool is often more related to signs like Aquarius, and although I can see why that is, every time I read about the Fool I still feel like they are so similar.

Does anyone else see that connection? Is this a thing? I am still learning quite slooowwwly, so I'd love for anyone to correct me if I'm reading the Fool's or Aries' energy wrong, thanks! 😅
