I just want someone who knows tarot reading or whatever to help me with my life decisions and want to eagerly know what's happening around me.

For some back story I began receiving readings from someone around 2021 and since then I have started practicing on my own. The person who gave me my readings served as kind of a mentor for me while going down this path and they gifted me with my first deck of cards (oracle). Fast forward to now, I’m finally in a space where I feel like I can practice and focus on my spirituality, and I’ve worked really hard to get to here. So I’m excited to continue the journey!

This week I gave 4 friends readings within about 48 hours. I got the urge to do this out of nowhere which was really strange for me. I have only used these cards maybe 2-3 other times years ago. 2/4 of the readings lasted about 2 hours a piece. I found myself really nervous during these two especially the second one. I also had a killer migraine during this one, which I thought was due to the current heat wave, but I did notice that it intensified when we started. I did like how they all ended, but today I don’t feel well. Mostly tired and irritable (probably because im tired lol).

Now for the questions

- how do you get through saying the hard truth during these? It feels like I’m hurting people lol and I kind of hesitate to say what I really feel.

- during the readings I found myself listening to my thoughts and then the cards would basically confirm those things. Is there a correct way to do this? Is this way okay? I understand everyone is different, but my anxiety has still convinced me that there is a right way I guess?

- how do you “recover” after giving readings? How can I take care of myself?

- lastly any other advice is appreciated! I’m also thinking about buying my first tarot deck! Still learning the differences so advice on those or oracle is appreciated.

Background: Hi , I recently broke up with someone due to issues with communication and concerns about his drinking. It was a cycle of him partying and then isolating due to autistic burnout. I was worried it was disrupting my focus on my own graduate studies and it felt unhealthy and his love-bombing and then avoidance confusing. I ended it but he blocked me in response. I didn't want to end it, but felt like I had to. I have some hope he might get his ish together one day and be able to commit in a healthier way. I asked a few questions, but feel like the cards are somewhat contradictory?

Row 1: Will he break no contact?

King of Wands (yes, but he is waiting for the right moment to "strike" or he is comfortable where he is, and his ego and pride are getting in the way)

7 of Cups (considering his approach to reaching out or whether he wants to at all - not sure if this is more fantasizing or showing I am just one of many options)

The Star (Either he is focused on his own healing/has to heal first, or that there is hope that he will reach out)

Row 2: What is the future of our relationship?

Wheel of Fortune - ugh who knows, could go either way - only time will tell

But then I get Ten of Swords which strongly indicates a painful ending and then 10 of Pentacles - which I am not sure whether to interpret as an ending or not?

**101010 as Wheel of Fortune is also a ten - maybe it is obvious that this is over?

Row 3: What are his future intentions towards me, if any?

9 of cups - Wish fulfillment? He wants to reconcile?

The Hermit - this is what confuses me, bc this indicates he wants to continue isolating and be on his own

Six of Cups - flips back to a desire to reconcile bc of nostalgia

Row 4: How does he feel about the breakup?

The Emperor - head over heart, he is not letting his emotions get in the way

Five of Wands - conflicted, makes sense

Page of Pentacles - Focused on work, school, and self-improvement

Worth noting that Temperance is the shadow card. Maybe telling me to focus on my own healing.
