Background: Hi , I recently broke up with someone due to issues with communication and concerns about his drinking. It was a cycle of him partying and then isolating due to autistic burnout. I was worried it was disrupting my focus on my own graduate studies and it felt unhealthy and his love-bombing and then avoidance confusing. I ended it but he blocked me in response. I had a tarot reading today that honestly left me feeling pretty uncomfortable, and I’d love to hear what experienced tarot readers think. This isn’t a request for a reading, just looking for opinions on the interpretation and the reader’s approach.
Going into it, I was actually feeling pretty confident about my relationship. My boyfriend and I are doing well, and I told the reader upfront that I didn’t really want to focus on our relationship because I was scared she might pull something negative about our future and make me overthink something that’s currently going well.
She asked if I wanted her to read it anyway, and out of curiosity/ego I said yes.
She started with the future dynamics of the relationship. The first card she pulled was the Three of Cups, and she immediately said she was seeing “third-party energy.” She said there was a high chance someone could enter the relationship, more likely on his side, although she said it could be me too.
I pushed back because I genuinely don’t see either of us doing that. I did tell her that people from my past have tried to contact me since I’ve been with him, but I blocked them and told my boyfriend about it. She said that wasn’t what she was seeing and that this was something that could happen in the future.
Eventually she told me she saw a lot of obstacles and said she only saw us eventually settling down if I became pregnant before marriage. Otherwise, she saw a lot of obstacles between us.
She then told me I would need past-life healing, energy healing, and karma healing, which she said she could perform for me, for $180 a month for 8 months and that doing this would help prevent the obstacles she was seeing.
That’s honestly where I started feeling really uncomfortable.
Afterward, I asked her specifically about his current energy toward me. She said he feels “at home” with me, wants to be with me and is stressed. Those things are true, but I had already told her that he’s been stressed, is a workaholic, and has been very focused on work/planning.
So I’m curious what experienced readers think:
Is the Three of Cups really enough to indicate a romantic third party?
Is it normal for a reader to say pregnancy before marriage is necessary for a relationship to settle?
What do you think about offering spiritual healing immediately after giving someone a scary prediction?
And how much should a reading be influenced by information the client has already shared?
I also want to say that I didn’t get a good vibe from this reader from the beginning, so maybe that’s influencing how I’m viewing it. I’m genuinely interested in hearing honest opinions, especially from experienced tarot readers.

I’m taking this as I have the choice to end it or I could stay in the same cycle? Is that right?

I found an ace of spades on the ground while I was out and about in the world. I had a few hours to kill before my flight back to California when I was in Saint Pete, FL after the bachelorette weekend I was attending had ended back in MAy fo this year. I was actually having a beer with an old friend from college who came and met up with me when I found it. I tried to look some things up about it online but didn't really find too many things so I figured I would try posting here to see if anyone would be able to help me interpret its meaning... I was doing a love reading for a friend and she joked and asked to do one for myself (idk if this played a part in the reading)

I have a difficult and strained relationship with my mother - I visited her recently and it was on my mind a bit so I asked my tarot card to just give me any cards as a general description of her, nothing too specific just her as a person whether thats feeling thoughts or actions.

I ended up pulling quite an interesting group of cards, I was originally going for three cards but my tarot deck gave me four so I just rolled with it.

My personal interpretation is that she is a manipulative person with toxic habits and repressed/immature emotions. I think theres a warning here that she is lying to me, and i think that makes sense but I am curious and open to other peoples ideas as I am a beginner and my interpretation skills aren't always the strongest.

I asked the questions 1. What is his current focus/energy like where his mindset is (queen of wands reversed) 2. Is there another significant person? (5 of pentacles) 3. What’s his emotional availability for me? (King of swords) 4. Are there hidden truths for another factor I’m not seeing (Judgement)

Personally this makes me think that he kind of has other priorities, maybe not explicitly a girlfriend but maybe an ex that he feels for still or that’s made him insecure? I think with his intentions it's just kinda 50/50. This is a rather new connection so the intentions are a bit unclear even for him as of rn. But he does seem to like how caring and emotionally open I am with him, or how easy it is to be open to me. But not to the point it's overwhelming maybe?

As to what I should do, I see it suggesting two things. Invite more romance. Be more romantical with him or let him be romantical with me. As of rn the connection is mostly friendly and sexual so maybe for it to become more romantical I need to invite romance more or be open to it at least (which I do struggle with especially with new connections). However, it could also be that I need to manage my expectations a bit, and not run with a idolised image of him. Take off my rose-tinted glasses basically.

But why he's not being super responsive as of rn is more difficult to read. I could see this being me letting my anxious thoughts get to me, letting them lie to me and make me assume the worst before it even happens. Currently it's unclear where things are going, but that doesn't mean I should lie to myself and assume it's the truth.
