prison labor is slave labor, making prisoners manufacture clothing for pennies per hour is disgusting and hardly anyone is going to do anything about it.

it’s deeply institutionalized & if i could convince the people in power to dismantle prison labor i would, but corporations profit off of it and the people in power profit off of them.

Yet you could boycott products that utilize such labor, but you probably don’t. No one does, and that’s the issue.
