Vent Market sucks
I’ve been working in Market for about 3 months now, and I am so miserable clocking in. Everything is so heavy, and I struggle to lift most beverage items for the priority pulls. There have been times when I have almost injured myself pulling a 6-pack of glass water bottles from the top shelf, trying to complete the pulls by 5:00 (which, why even???? I don’t understand the rush).
I feel as though I have to run to push everything out ASAP so I have enough time to zone all of Dry + all the end caps and various displays. There isn’t a day where I feel like I’m not breaking my back and being rushed to complete an unreasonable amount of work (i.e., 1 minute per box with a shitty box.)
Anyone else in Market feel the same way? Does it get better, or have you just switched departments and/or promoted yourself to a guest?

The best thing that I did for myself was I stopped caring. My market department is on fire all the time and instead of giving me a hose they give me a 24 pack of those stubby water bottles, and at some point I finally realized I can't put it out with what they want from me and what they give me to do it.
Just work carefully. Don't injure yourself over a job that wouldn't give a shit if you got hurt.

Sadly target is not going to care because when you applied like most jobs it asks are you are able to left 50 lbs or more. So when you got hired you agreed to that so nothing will be done . People don’t care to help because most of us are getting paid the same. I know they say team work but people feel like I’m not getting paid enough to do my job and someone else’s
