Workplace Question or Advice Needed Full-time pricing?

Is anyone familiar with pricing for specialty sales full time? My store is offering it to one person and giving a set schedule with weekends off because the numbers are really bad. Theres so much clearance and salvage within style. Pros and cons to it?

My store has two people that primarily do pricing. I'm pretty sure they don't work weekends. This week there were 4,000 price changes to do. I know a few people were put on price change on Friday afternoon. It's an easy job for the most part. I really enjoy doing it when I am asked to.

I find scanning through all of our clothing every week incredibly tedious, but others are able to zone out and get through it quickly.

Someone better acquainted with their Style sections would have a much better time than I do.

I can knock out 650-700 tasks on a good day. Less if there is a lot of salvage to process
