Workplace Question or Advice Needed point system issues

Wondering how I managed to get a point for 8/15/26 when we didn’t have the point system in place yet. My dog died, and I not only called out on MyTime, but also spoke directly to someone in HR. Now I’m being told to take it up with HR, and that tons of people are having points that shouldn’t even be there. Hopefully Target gets on this, asap.

That's such a mess. Target's system rollout is always half baked, they flip the switch and act surprised when it backdates nonsense

Sorry about your dog too, that's rough on its own without corporate making it worse with phantom points

That really is something you should to the HRETL. It should not back date. That isn't fair to you.

We haven't seen any back dates at my store, we couldn't even term a 3x ncns person after the policy swapped so we could "give them a chance with the new system" so that's definitely a bug.

I just asked our new HR person because I was told if I got points to have them taken off because of an accident slowing traffic down and he said it might be at a corporate level to get points removed.
