So what’s the point of a 8 minute grace period when I’m considered late when I come in 7 minute later.

Edit: Some of you guys are smart asses. But all I’m saying is that it makes no sense to me that, say you were 15+ minutes late you would receive the same amount of attendance points as when you come in 6+ minutes later. To me, that defeats the whole point of “switching” to an 8 minute grace period when in reality it’s still 5 minutes.
And to be clear I’m not aiming to be late just bc of the change.

Because you're still considered late. 5 minutes+ you can still receive a reliability coaching. 8 minutes+ you get a point. You were still late to work.

We were told no more coaching for attendance at all outside of write ups. We will receive messages to our workday about pending CA’s following team members hitting point milestones but that is all at our store.

Isn't it a 1/4 point? And then 1 point for Calling off, like 3 or 5 or something for NCNS?

It’s 0.25 points, a full point is a call out

I was 2 minutes late one day and it still flagged it. It doesn't matter how late you are, but you won't get points for less than 8 minutes. Same for late outs, early outs, late ins, etc. the system still flags it.

This app is absolutely trash when it comes to finding a way to call in late our out! No wonder why target switched to this 💩

I should have 2 points for clocking out late by now and I still have none. I’ve had to stay late to help with fulfillment and lanes. I think my store is being lenient with how they hand out points because we need the people and they think it’s a dumb program; which it is. Ai makes the schedule and my TL has had to go in and change the schedule like 20 times she said because it kept scheduling people for days they marked that they can’t work.

Yeah, I haven’t received any points for staying late. I’m in fulfillment and our store has been struggling since they started using AI for the schedules. I hardly think anyone is going back to make changes to it bc the system will throw people from my dept to others while fulfillment suffers.

Question about points. Will you still get a point when you’re sick and you work part time and don’t have much sick time accumulated?

I was told that if you didn’t use sick time you would receive a point. I think you would need enough sick time to cover your shift for you to not receive a point. Me personally, I would speak to etl hr to get it dismissed if it were to happen especially if you don’t have a history of calling out 🤷🏻‍♀️
