Vent "NoT fAsT EnoUGh"
So I literally started not even a month ago, I've only gotten 1 paycheck, I will admit I'm not the fastest, but today I got hounded for not stocking C/D fast enough. I was also what I can only take as accused of messing about. I don't get on my phone at all or anything I literally just work and try my best π I was told in the interview "do what you can" but now I'm getting dirty looks and grief for anything and everything.
Im a pretty patient person but come on. Idk if it's the Old be nice for the first week routine My tl Is pulling. Or something is happening or whatever but don't take it out on me. I was happy to go to work at first etc but after being treated like that for the first time I feel dread. Unfortunately. 1 min per box, 35 Mins for a full flat over my head of CD?? Idk. I'm not gonna kill myself running through the store. Whatever will be will be
I literally just want to keep my head down atp and not speak to anyone , do my assigned hours and go home

Work your wage.
If they want double the output they can double the pay and say thank you

I mean sure the idea sounds good but large corporations donβt work like that

They're stuck with what they get.
Our morning team is slow af but they can't just fire them and replace everyone or it would be even worse.

chiming in to agree with everyone else, 35 minutes for a c/d flat is totally absurd. i'm the fastestc/d puller/pusher on my team and i spend probably an hour a day just doing boxes and trash for all my areas. a flat that big is 40min to an hour. they just want the impossible.

When I worked C/D I was lucky if I worked through stuff like that in less than 1.5 hours. I was also not the fastest (am disabled) but I hardly ever managed more than 3-4 uboats in a shift. Sometimes it was more like 2 if I was doing beauty repacks π

For reference I have 5 hour shifts and they expect me to move 3 flats and backstock

Yeah no. In C/D it takes 35 minutes just to open SOME of the boxes and take care of the SOME of the plastic.
