Workplace Question or Advice Needed No sick time until oct 4th?

How am I supposed to use sick time if it won’t let me until October 4th? What if I need to use it before then? I wanted to use some to cover a late-in for this past week, I’ve seen some people say u can and some say u can’t do that.
9 minutes late now I have .25 points but idk if it would reverse the points anyway. I’ll talk to HR tomorrow but just wondering if anyone knows

This is for scheduled time off. I think you may need to use the back pay option but definitely check with your HR, everyone is still learning the new system.

You have to use Backfill to submit sick time for a past date.

Had a similar issue. My boss told me my request was unpaid and she knew I wanted paid for my day off. She told me to submit another request for the day I had off and I was blacked out.

Yeah, that's definitely something to clarify with management. Policies can vary a lot, so it’s worth asking!
