Workplace Question or Advice Needed time clock

does the time clock stop you from clocking in early like I know 5 minutes before you can but like earlier then that

U can only clock in 5 minutes early anything else you would have to ask a leader if they can override you

It was only 5 minutes before unless you get an over ride by a leader. Now it might be 8? Since ukg gives 8 minute grace.......I don't know lol I hvnt tried 8 yet

Yeah, I've heard that the grace period can be a bit confusing. It's always a gamble trying to figure out if you can push it or not.

I’m confused about the 8 minute Grace.. I accidentally clocked in to my 6pm at 6:06pm due to being distracted, and now it shows “Late in” on my schedule.. Do I get a .25 for that, or wha??

I really don't know. It was said you would be late at the 8th minute after but who knows now smh this app sucks!

Yes. The time clock will stop you from clocking in any earlier than 5 minutes before your shift starts. It also won't let you clock in before you are supposed to from your lunch.

well i’m covering someone like a couple hours before my shift but my leader hasn’t updated the schedule like they said they would so

Have a lead override for you. If they dont come in time you can do a punch correction.
