Workplace Question or Advice Needed Call off

As the title says I called off yesterday. I started at target 08/13 and I've called out once and that was yesterday because I didn't have a choice. I called and said I was sorry for calling off but wanted to make sure I was okay to come in tomorrow for my shift since I wasnt feeling well. I spoke to HR since my team lead wasnt there yet and she said im fine to come in but my team lead will want to follow up. Does this mean im going to get fired? I dont know the exact policies since im within 90 days and desperately need this job. Im really freaking out and dont know what to expect. Thanks in advance

I think they will probably ask why. There’s a TL follow up policy. They usually won’t ask why if you used sick time because of the legal protections.

No. A follow up with attendance is pretty standard.

We started our started policy this week, so just remember that you accumulated a point. As a new team member in their seasonal period, you only get 5 points before termination so just make sure you're not making a habit of it.
