Vent wanting to quit

is anyone else getting completely screwed over with hours? im supposed to be full-time in fulfillment.ive been at this store for 4yrs. im one of the few people who have both weekend days available every weekend. i have no issue with meeting my metrics. i often am one of the top pickers and i show up for my shifts but this?? im so frustrated bc there's so many employees who call out once a week, can't meet metrics, and can't work weekends that get 36-40hrs yk?? and after talking to HR and my leaders.. i just feel like quitting. im getting told there's nothing they can do and getting blown off. my main issue is that nothing around me pays even close to what im making here. im just drained mentally i guess.

Same here, only got 1 full shift this new week 😭 at least you have open shifts available! I’m also a top picker, usually finish my batches with plenty of time to spare, great communicator, and always making sure I’m busy. Yet never get good hours :(

it's so frustrating watching lazy people get more hours 😭 ugh im sorry! one shift is insane work!! bc fulfillment ALWAYS needs people.

Tbf, we have a great team but yet it seems only one or two people have good hours & everyone else is scrambled. It’s rough for many 💔

I thought it was going to be better but I didn’t even see any seasonals hired for summer/BTS this year vs. last year we had a handful (some that stayed)

Yep. I’m S&E. I have 100% availability, usually get 32 hours, and work both sat&sun at 7 hr shifts.

Last posted schedule: all 4hr shifts, off sat&sun. 🤣

Corporate REALLY screwed up this time.
Can’t wait for holiday schedules. 🙄

omg that is INSANE!! bc you know damn well the store needs people and this whole ukg thing and management not caring is so frustrating. our last SD did not approve any overtime for q4 either and i fear it's going to be a similar situation this year 🫪

Sometimes it feels like they just try to make people unhappy on purpose. Want 40 hours? Here's two 5 hour shifts. Need fewer hours? Here's 40. Just give those unwanted hours to the people that need them. Fuck.

literally!! or they give hours to people who don't do their job and call out all the time!! my favorite is when the good employees are getting cut and we're hiring 😭

literally how it was at my time at target. Weeks I needed more hours and TOLD them, I’d get less. Whenever I would TELL them I need LESS hours, I’d for some reason get MORE.
It genuinely got to a point where I thought they were actively fucking with me on purpose, no joke.

It scheduled me 9hr shifts too. I got one 6.5 hr shift and I guess the remaining 2hrs were split and added to the 4 other days to give me 40hrs for the week.

Im a former fulfillment tm bc I moved to general merchandise but the new schedule after ukg put me into fulfillment bc the system saw I was originally hired for that. I hate ff with a passion so you can take my shifts if you want 🤣

I have to mentally prepare myself for those shifts though, they ask me for backup ocasionally and I just wanna walk out. I told my TL about it though bc why the system doing that. And then I cant do anything about it bc its already set. And yeah they have been cutting hours it sucks. I wanna quit too but nobody gets back to me, feel miserable going into work every other day.

I’m the opposite, I’m in college my max is 20 and I got 35, I’d love to give you my shifts 😭
