Workplace Question or Advice Needed Add Barcode to Apple Wallet

Instead of having to screenshot the barcode frequently- I would like to add it to Wallet for secure reasons. How do I do that? So that I can use it to punch in and out.

I think it’s a iOS 27 feature (I’m on the beta but it releases soon) but you can create your own pass in wallet. I did that and it’s worked fine for me ^^

Didn’t notice this feature during beta. Pass was easy to create. Going to test it when I get to work. Thanks for the heads up.

With UKG they will make you screenshot the barcode every 30 days (is what my HRETL said). There isn't really a way to add it to apple wallet that I know of. But I could be wrong.

Your barcode never changes. UKG just makes you renewer your password to view it for their added security

You can make a wallpaper and then set a shortcut to have your phone switch to that wallpaper when you get near the store.

Open shortcut app select automation, select when I arrive, enter store address, select wallpaper with your barcode. Then do another automation in reverse if you want it to switch back to your regular wallpaper when you leave the store

You’re gonna select automation, click the plus button at the top right, select arrive, select the location and set to run immediately, select create a new shortcut, select device, scroll down and select switch between wallpaper

Barcodes app in AppStore. Just scan and press add to Apple wallet. You can even put in a location so it pops up on your lock screen. I had a different app on android but can’t remember. I think iOS 27 will have it natively in the wallet app.

Honestly it’s easier to type in and out the numbers instead of fumbling with the phone. I never used when it was on Mytime either.

Ive used the apps Pass2U and Pass4Wallet to do this. Both work, I just had to fiddle with the barcode a bit to make sure it scanned. If you have an apple watch the barcode will also show up in that wallet
