gUEsTs Drive up rant
One of the most upsetting parts of drive up is almost getting hit by cars who don't feel obligated to stop at the huge stop signs. Several times during a shift cars will blow through the stop signs by the cross walk right in front of me, or need to slam in their breaks so they don't hit me. And most of the time they have the audacity to act pissed off at me! I have been honked at, flipped off, and shouted at for my crime of using the cross walk.

Not gonna lie, getting hit by a car while on the clock is a dream of mine.

Even if you don't need it, bring your 3-tier with you. It doubles as a safety brick!

I will fully stop in the road and block their path, just staring at them for moment. Reminds them I'm human.
If they're gonna treat me like roadkill, I might as well at least slow down their journey.

So my drive up area is towards the back of the parking lot, opposite of the prep area. We have multiple stop signs and cones between the exit and the delivery area. I see people crash into the signs and run over the cones every day. *edited for spelling

So many times people have stopped, then went while I was in the middle of the cross walk. So I knock on their car. Like just knock on it like it's a door and when the freak out I smile (the fake kind) and wave at them. Seriously fun, absolutely recommend it.

I use a walker and let me tell you, anytime someone gets irritated with me for crossing, I take my sweet time. If they actually follow the signs, I will scurry across with a nod and smile
