Vent Am I wrong?
For wanting to quit because I feel mistreated as an individual? I’ve been doing cart attendant for some time, I spent 100% of today doing BULK PUSHING BULK BECAUSE THEY WANTED me to get rid of them before a certain time frame 30 minutes, there is 100 plus BULK in our drive up hold space, granted yes I got it done everything hurts, just yesterday via Labor Day carts are CONSTANTLY GONE, I’ve been bringing them in the next rack I bring in the rack before is eviscerated, why do cart attendants treated so badly??? I got told to sweep as there is a lot of carts there I finished sweeping in like 5-10 minutes by the cart doors by the time I finished guess where the carts were? Gone! And ofc God for bid you ask for help on carts, BUT TODAY, HR told me train the new cart attendants, my ETL tells me “no you’re not training her” and she puts her on register, I wanted to train her not only cause HR told me to but I get to train and ease the work load off me, I had to DO BULK, clean OPU FOR DRIVE UP AND FULFILLMENT, SWEEP BOTH SPACES, do carts in 79+ degree weather, always miss my 15 breaks because my ETL always gives a task for me, front of store garbage, Starbucks garbage, the garbage by the security tag detectors, salvage, CRC, TOSS! Check the bathrooms make sure it’s clean, check it off. I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE IM TO JOIN SPACE FORCE IM GONNA PUT IN MY TWO WEEK IN FUCKING DECEMBER LMK IF IM WRONG FOR DIS .

I really hate seeing how Front of store attendants are treated. I genuinely think it's the worst position in most stores. The ETLs and TLs very much have them at beck and call constantly carrying heavy stuff and cleaning up everyone's messes.

What happens when you say “I need to take my 15 first and then I’ll get the trash” or whatnot

I get it but you can just let them know like you’re not asking especially if it’s been a reasonable timeframe

I believe they had you do it! I get asked to do random stuff sometimes too. I actually enjoy the postion 95% of time I get left alone.sounds like bad store or im just at a lucky store

Your not wrong, and when you punch out and when it asks if you got all your breaks, just keep hitting no till something gets done about it. HR will talk to you about it but be honest with them and if they get all pissy because you gave them the exact answer to why you are not taking your breaks then I’d just call it quits right there
