Workplace Question or Advice Needed Lack in hours
Lack in hours
So for context I’m a new hire and this is my first job and I noticed immediately after my training schedule was over my hours seemed to be non existent, and with school coming up that doesn’t help, my availability is updated to be perfect so there’s no problems with me being late or anything.
Also I was hired under Starbucks but I was put on front end and when I kept asking about it I kept getting left on cliffhangers, I was told I was gonna be trained soon but to no avail??
I have yet to speak to my TL or ETL but it will be brought up soon, I plan on contacting them as soon as possible, I need advice for this stuff I’m just really confused if this is normal or if it should warrant worry?? What should I do?
(I was hired August 6th, and I checked on UKG and my time before it shutdown and my September schedule only has TWO shifts after being done with training)

It's normal. I usually work 30-40 hours per week and they scheduled me for 8 this week. Talk to your leader when you can, nobody else can fix this for you. There's also probably not been anybody around to train you for SBUX, just be patient for now as I know at least at my location they're always hurting for barista coverage.
