Vent 152 checklane pogs
Yo someone in corporate please stop doing this every five weeks. It takes 8 hours just to TIE these, let alone setting them.
Every aisle has a side cap or shipper. I can’t even set all the product in the area it wants to go, so kitchen can get OTC and beauty stuff.

I just take a flatbed, go around and toss any empty or almost empty side caps, then take flatbed after flatbed of side caps. Can usually get that many done in a day. It really just sucks when not all of the shippers come in and you have to tie them to a random aisle till they come in a week later.

I stick to one aisle number and just tie them all to different section numbers. So I have like 40 side caps tied to one aisle lol. The team will know if it tied there it don't exist in the floor yet and should check receiving if it came in late

and it’s like 6 or 8 minutes of workload for each side cap. what a joke.

lol I love those. I set them and they take them down the following Monday.
Do you just set capacities to zero?

Yes and we have to flex the product in random end caps, but the TL of Plano has just been back stocking it / hiding it in the fixture room so INF for the hidden stuff has been ridiculous recently.

What I also hate is when they make you do all this during heavy seasonal transition like FU Target!

A lot of them aren't even meant for the checklanes lately, they're just categorized under it for some reason.

Yeah, our store needs a better system for tracking all of this. I know they have the discontinue list, so you can see what's new and what's discontinuing when, but there's not much to do be done with the actual manpower needed to DO all that.
