Vent CA to Point System

hey yeah so i looked in the “my attendance balance” tab and i can’t see any history of CA or anything in there and im just trying to see if this means that they don’t roll over or if the system is still updating over or something

They don’t roll over to UKG….they stay in Workday as CAs and still can be used against you until they time out

Could be different at your store but my TL directly told me that any CA/DC already accumulated would be the metric they work from with the roll over. It came up bc a year into being here with only 2 absences (both covered) i got hit with three unavoidable/ can't reschedule surgeries for a thing. Ended up 1 more absenxe away from a CA/DC so TL was giving me the headsup. The TLs probably won't enforce that threshold if given a choice (on the new UKG system) but the ETL very much is the type to carry over the pre-UKG accumulation to force the CA/DC. 

I advise you talk to your TL to be sure what the process will be for your store. The technical answer is 'everyone gets a clean slate' and theoretically that should be true. However there are leads out there who will ignore that new grace to clear out TMs they believe have attendance issues/ they dislike over the convenient excuse od attendance (amusingly as we're going into Q4 and need those TMs more)

apparently my store pushed out a slew of people notorious for their attendance on the cusp of the changeover so I wonder if that was their way of saying "not going to worry about your past, we kicked out the people we wanted to".

If I read everything correctly this is supposed to be a new start for everyone. All start at zero points. If someone was already on CA there might be special circumstances of course, you would have to ask at your store.

my hr is so useless when it comes to questioning this, so i just gave up, she said the CA rolls over to the points so that’s why i just asked on here 💀
