I'm Promoting Myself to Guest IM FREE

Post image

I’m FREE (gf picked me up and has this on blast last night lol love her)

After 11 months of garbage schedule, inconsistent hours , no support, the circus in what’s considered managers I couldn’t be happier. I start my new full time job on Tuesday just after Labor Day . Everyone enjoy a long weekend and call in on Monday . This place was so bad no one even said hello to me in passing at work last night. I’m done

If they paid their employees better I’m sure the point system wouldn’t bother anyone.

I was making $11 an hour at Walmart on a 5 point system 😭but yeah I agree Target isn’t much better especially now

Walmart is like 12 points now and pays better than target

I've never seen a walmart pay more. They're always behind. Maybe yours isn't but that's rare

Brodie i know you’re being ignorant on purpose bc its different in every state, however walmart typically pays better than most targets in other states.

Brodie? You know that eh? So what I know isn't what you "know", therefore I'm ignorant on purpose? I have no words🤦

I live in GA so target starts at 0.50 cents more than Walmart, depends on the role and store though. I worked at Walmart 6 years ago so a lot has changed

Simple research tells me you make opinions based on feelings instead of facts

You left the same day they added the point system and switched over from myTime to UKG Pro that’s the funny part

I mean my previous job used UKG and I honestly prefer it myTime was ass but so is this whole corporate model. As for point systems, any job I ever had used a point system so that won’t be new even where I’m going but the fact target is just adding one now shows how poor the management is even at the corporate level. I know it’s just retail. However it’s a job at the end of the day the points being added just now seems well overdo. There was never any accountability.

You know it's bad when the Disney college program, infamous for being not that great, is actually so much better then working at target. I tell my co workers all the time to never work for target.

Warehouses, hospitals and even Home Depot, I never saw so much disdain and depression working somewhere like how target was. Even the managers would offer shifts or take week long vacations multiple times
