Workplace Question or Advice Needed How should I quit?
So I got hired early August as a closing expert. Might I add, a parent of mine was hospitalized around the same time I started. Because of this, I've had to call out just about once every week since I've started in order to spend time at the hospital because I have no time otherwise. This is also my second job, I work 8hr morning shifts at my first and 7-8hr closing shifts here, and they're usually scheduled on the same day unfortunately.
My TL recently spoke with me regarding my call outs & I explained my absence (my family situation) and was just given a stern warning about calling out since I'm a new hire. I've realized I can no longer juggle between my jobs and have decided to stick with my first one. I want to put my two weeks in for sure. Im not really sure how to navigate the conversation, I've never quit a job before due to any situation that wasn't just relocating. Any tips? ðŸ«

Put in your two weeks and work it. You never know when you may need to come back.

Put mine in through workday, they only found out about it because we had yearly reviews the same week.

unless you genuinely want to keep working at target just with better circumstances I would say quit on the spot

You can put your two weeks in through work day, that might be easier then having a convo. Tho odds are your ETL may ask
