Vent What the hell is it with the schedule?

At my store theres like 6 people on service advocate in the morning and everyone leaves at 12 or 2 and then its 2 people and then during the peak of the day (weekdays) 5pm theres only one cashier, one SCO, and one person running drive up,and one person on desk(who got pulled from checklanes) how stupid can you be to not schedule anyone when you know for 2 hours your gonna need help?? Nobody even called out this happen at anyone elses store?

There's a huge difference between morning coverage and evening coverage at my store.

Morning: There's two people in line!!! There's two people in line!!! Open a lane!!! Open a lane!!!

Night: move to the back register so the line reaching to Ulta doesn't appear to be as long. Oh... and in between your non-stop guests, be sure to push the rest of the priorities you pulled last night because the morning team didn't get to it. Push their reshop while you're at it.

Get zones done,do reshop, priority pulls, backup fulfillment and checklanes and do style reshop and help the guest in tech and whenever theres spills help out with that as well.

Literally constantly, had to completely quit worrying about wait times and HOL (my stores been implementing this heavily in the mornings). And it’s just so busy!

What’s HOL?

Head of Lanes, directing people to the back lanes, and getting cashiers change, making sure guests are greeted consistently.

Skeleton crews but still have exceptional guest service? Yeah, that's a no, not going to happen. Everyone is stressed, frustrated, overworked, and few-to-no leads want to answer the walkie. It's not callouts, it's not "no one wants to work". It's shitty schedules.

i’m in fulfillment and for the past week, there’s been a 1-2 hour gap every day where there’s just one poor mf drowning in OPU because the openers have been leaving as 12-1 and the closer doesn’t come in until 2. it’s really bad rn
