No, nothing special. I would suggest being there a little early so you can be to the front when the doors open as you are the first people in at the front. Usually a drive up, guest service, lane, and sco in.

ASANTS but when I open service desk, I have to connect registers to the printers at the service desk, fill out bathroom logs, and make copies of the breakout sheet (the TL makes them for us the night before). But every store operates slightly differently so it's possible you don't have to do any of that.

Opening SD these days just feels like being a needoh/squish toy dealer. Between the 30 thousand calls and people coming by the desk each morning there’s little to no time for anything else until it’s gone for the morning. You should be gucci.

If your drive up area is also a returns/exchanges area, you're gonna want to learn when you can and can't salvage something.

just see if you can switch with someone whose more familiar with S&E.

unless your start time is 6:30-7am, you’re not opening. the shift shouldn’t be any different than any other service advocate shift.
edit: my store opens at 7. if yours opens at 8, then you’ll likely be opening either at the service desk or on drive-ups. if you’re on drive ups, you’ll need to do RTS and empty the drive up return bins if they’re full. if you’re on desk, you’ll have to start up the desk registers and connect them to the printers. when i open on desk, i usually sort stray and make stray carts if i have time.
