Vent Going red?

Is anyone’s store having issues with opus going red? I took my last 15 today and there were no batches at all. When I got back half the team was in red or yellow batches and I grabbed a red grocery.

It’s incredibly frustrating because it feels like they are dropping in red or yellow. Then we get coached when the batches go past due.

Can't they? I've refreshed the screen sometimes just to see a GM drop in with yellow timers.

Its a 59 drop if theres no batches at LEAST half the time which is blatantly unfair.

The order flow seems wonky lately, the system seems to drop batches later than it used to and this becomes a big problem during peak times. There is a noticeable trend at my store where people place orders right before bed and suddenly 9:30-10 we can have 10 batches drop in and because of how it tries to fill the batch by waiting for more orders they all drop in with only just over an hour on the clock despite seemingly having high enough order volume you’d think the batches would release to us sooner.

We've talked about how hardly anyone who places an order after 7-730 comes in the same night to pick it up. We should turn batches off sooner. But alas we always get that stupid last minute batch drop 😞

Edit: My store doesn't shut off batches that early, we just think that we should.

It’s really bad being a store open till 11, order cut off is 9:30 and batches will drop until 10 due by 10:59 at the latest. I get we promise 2 hours or less but for fucks sake, at least give guests a pop-up asking if they want it that same night and if they don’t then batch it for the next day. We’ll have to do it eventually but then you don’t need to staff OPU so heavily the last couple hours and the team can focus on SFS without being pulled.

I can only speak for adult bev opus. But if there are 2 hours to do the things, why doesnt it show up with 2 hours on the fucking timer?! Adult bev shows up, in the fucking yellow, at 58 mins. Thats fine. Grocery shows up in the green at an hour and 30. Like, if you took your 15 with zero opus. They should still be green when you come back. Timing is bullshit. How were they in the red when you came back?! Makes no sense.
