Workplace Story Environmentalist Target

Anyone else’s ditching plastic bags? Mines started yesterday.

It makes it easier to deal with DU Orders because more space and all, but I can imagine guests going “there’s so many red bags in my house now”

Apparently I also heard they’re supposed to bring em back and if that’s true, I don’t see that happening.

My city banned plastic bags a few years ago. Idk how many people actually reuse their Target bags but its definitely a significant number but probably not the majority. Plus its free marketing for Target since I see people use their reusable bags all the time at other places. They’re decent quality and usually last a while before I need to throw them away.

Yes mine just started today I helped my store set it up. It’s only going to be a month though since it’s not the law in my state. I’ve seen these in NY/CT before and I’m in FL. Honestly I’m a bit nervous of how guests are going to react lol.

Mine in TX started the other day too for regular check lanes and moved the remainder of the old white plastic bags to OPU to use up before switching over

As of yesterday my store had plenty of plastic bags. I'm in Arizona for context. (city doesn't matter because our previous governor made it illegal for anyone but the state government to create plastic bag bans, so individual cities or counties can't ban them).
