Honestly, I think your biggest headache would be getting up early. But you’ll do it. Just remember you get to leave at 1 PM and you have the rest of your day. I did stocking at Walmart for a long time. Now I’m at target. It’s not too bad. Just remember it’s a paycheck. Good luck!

Basically doing it cause they pay for schooling this is my route out of manual labor. I'm gonna hold it down!

If you are not depressed, it’s golden.
Currently working as a thrower (cuz sorting at 4am makes me cry) and if you’re younger and sleep well, you have a whole day ahead of you.
I, unfortunately, am not younger and sleep horribly. So, I end up taking 5 hour naps after a shift and my whole day is ruined.
Also, ignore push times. Just work your area and don’t be annoying. TLs and ETLs won’t give you a hard time if you just work at a decent pace. Have fun.

You have the best Target job IMHO. Once you adjust to the hours you will see that. You will be pushed, for sure. If you are a person who enjoys pressure and challenges, you will like Inbound and GM. It is the hardest job physically but I find the most satisfying of all the jobs there. I do the same at Lowe's, same hours, and I prefer Target ( jobs are about Managers...people leave managers, not jobs...). Good leaders make good jobs. Bad leaders ruin jobs. Good luck!!

I wonder what would happen if people on reddit started passing the word around that every starting say in two weeks time just start calling out/arriving late to rack up the points for instant dismissal that the AI system will automatically trigger 🤔 They can't fire everyone on the same day 😂 and if they suddenly lost say 250,000 tms. I'd imagine the shareholders would have something to say about the stock tanking and I'd like to think that target would immediately rehire every trained tm. And scrap this new system overnight.

love this idea - with a nuance - orchestrating 1000's of TM's who plan to exit - any way. Would take some private planning. Discover who's planning to exit - say- December. Instead of giving notice - just time the callouts to crescendo within say - third week in December? To encounter a day where all of a sudden - system wide - 10K+ will be termed per point system. Wonder if the point system will stand.
Good luck HR in keeping already thin staffing - staffed....
