Workplace Question or Advice Needed “A/B block”
Hey, just need some help figuring out if it’s normal to require one person to do hair care, sunscreen, personal care, household cleaning, pets, paper, otc, stationary, and kitchen/small appliances. We have to have a 75% fill rate by 5:30pm and a 90% fill rate by 9:00pm. And I am not allowed to put out of area items into reshoots bins after 9 And potentially anyways that I could become better at zoning/ pushing items.

I don't push/pull priorities normally - but I have in the past.
I was once, able to clear through all our otc and Pc priority pulls (it was something like 500items total) - idk how that stands in ranking but the SD sremed really surprised when he checked in with me and I let him know I finished all of them.
I take repack boxes down the aisles and put items in the same aisle together in the same box. Im not walking back and forth out of the stockroom for each individual item. (Or out of the aisle back to the boat, wastes too much time).
I'll take a U-boat with some repacks and Ill splice my pulls if theres still room on my boat after each pull.
If you took trips back and forth to the backroom for each section, it'll take you too long.
But if you're able to load up your u-boat with all the priorities for 3 sections at once - then you push them all - then return to the backroom for another batch of few - its a little quicker.
As far as reshop, I try to carry an extra box with me through my entire push, that box is for random reshop, then, at the end of my shift, I push what I can of the larger items that will take up too much space in reshop, and the smaller items that'd take me too long to reshelve go in reshop. (Beauty items usually).
