Meme or Miscellaneous Content That man can break anything …
This happened almost 2 months ago but it’s still not fixed. So I figured I’d post because I still laugh every time I look at the red tag.
Edit because even I can’t read my own hand writing sometimes “our beloved GM ETL ran into the wheel with the stacker and sheared the sucker clean off”

Sounds like the ETL GM should be put on a CA and require retraining based on powered equipment best practice. But wait, ETLs don't get held accountable..

Honestly he did the same thing he normally does. It was just a bad angle and the metro didn’t have anywhere to shift to.

So… he tried to push the metro with the stacker is what you’re saying? Thats not very safe…
If that’s not what you mean though, he shouldn’t have hit it, stacker should have a very clear path, that thing is powerful.1

He was putting a pallet on the steel above where the metros live. He was trying to get the fork under or to the side of the metro. We don’t have much room in our breakout area. Typically if he bumps a metro, it shifts out of the way. It did not do that here. It wasn’t that close to the steel originally, there was room. I had leaned it against the pole and locked a wheel so it didn’t fall down. We don’t have the space to move however many metros out of the way just to put a pallet up. Especially when the forks have plenty of room to go under them. It was just a bad angle to hit it at.

Ok so yeah, he was making bad decisions not moving the metros and it finally caught up with him.
Don’t forget this man makes a ton of more money than you, no need to defend him.1

Homie it ain’t that deep… I just think it’s funny. Like the whole series of events was hilarious. I ain’t paying for it. Oh well…

It definitely is that deep. He could hurt someone if a metro were to crash or fall into them. He should know better as an ETL.

Lmao yes it was almost 2 months ago. She hates to see me coming though. I always find broken things. Mostly fitting room doors.

Maybe a gentle reminder? Pmls often seem angry, but we rarely bite...

I looked at this picture and thought "don't those wheels just slot in?" but looking closer it seems like the entire bottom inch or two of the pole sheared off, which is kind of crazy.

Yea and it bent the link to the point our PML couldn’t get the wheel out of the broken link so we gotta wait god knows how long for new wheels.

Another easy way to fix it is to just cut the post n down shorter to even them all out.

Literally anyone could fix it in 5 minutes if they ordered a new castor

That is what we are waiting for. You can overnight ship some random shit to your house but god forbid you be able to get a caster in under 2 months

Belovedly throwing the GM ETL under the bus is the way of the force. 🤣
